After two weeks of debate in Parliament on the vaccine pass, the bill should be definitively voted on this Sunday afternoon in the National Assembly, despite disagreements with senators. “The vaccine pass will come into force as soon as possible”, declared this Sunday morning on franceinfo the Minister Delegate in charge of Autonomy and Departmental Councilor of Pas-de-Calais, Brigitte Bourguignon.

“We only lost 48 hours”, she relativizes, assuring that he “it was normal for there to be debates”, and confirming that the vaccine pass should come into effect for those over 16 in the coming days. The Minister adds: “Vaccination is our only weapon against the worsening of the disease.”

The Senate abolished the obligation of identity checks in bars, restaurants and cinema. A measure that the government nevertheless wishes to try to restore. “There have been too many fake health passes used to the detriment of those who play the game to the end. We will see how the text comes out this afternoon”, believes Brigitte Bourguignon. According to her, “the formality of taking out your phone and at the same time your ID can be a simple formality”.

The National Assembly will also work on the ceiling of the administrative fine for companies that do not respect telework, another measure removed by the Senate. For Brigitte Bourguignon, “companies that do not play the game must be penalized”.
