We make small chocolate dishes with Pascal Batagne

In particular, we discovered a great recipe for chocolate pancakes, in other words with cocoa inside. Delicious also thicker, in a “vaûtes” version, our plump Lorraine pancakes…

We also made a hot chocolate drink flavored with cinnamon and orange.

One day a trade

Every day we go to see our local merchants to find out about seasonal products. On Mondays we like to go to our market gardeners, in this case to Catherine Haraux Masson, market gardener rue Vayringe in Nancy. She told us that we can stock up on spinach right now (3.50 per kg). You can also make a watercress soup (2’50 a boot)… Which is good since watercress soup is the subject of “plates of history” the historical and gourmet series that we are offering this summer.
