Wednesday November 29, Sébastien Cauet is the target of three complaints for rape and sexual assault. The host strongly denies all accusations. In 19/20 info, one of his lawyers, Me Xavier Autain, describes the situation “absolutely unbearable”. “In view of what we have updated, we have filed an independent complaint, which is a complaint of forgery and use, slanderous denunciation and attempted extortion of funds by an organized gang,” he declares. Continuing: “We have material elements which show that forgeries were made, with a view to incriminating Sébastien Cauet.”
A “stratagem” to “ask for money”
According to the lawyer, this denunciation is “false”. “There is a scheme which was constructed by several people (…) with a view to asking Sébastien Cauet for money to stop the cabal which was created against him”he says. “Someone who has a success like Sébastien Cauet can arouse jealousy and it can arouse envy,” concludes Me Xavier Autain.
