Fifteen days after the first private sales, the day after Christmas, it is this Wednesday that sales start. “The period remains eagerly awaited by customers and traders”, considers André Le Bars, director of the Jaurès and Coat ar Gueven shopping centers in Brest and the Portes de Brest in Guipavas.
And the covid does not visibly cool down customers : “We observed a slight decrease of 5% in attendance. Customers know that we are doing the job: we have become experts in the management of barrier gestures. Our customers are reassured.”
The epidemic is disrupting shops, but traders and employees adapt. “We have few cases of covid within our structures but we are obviously not spared by contact cases. We manage to organize ourselves with greater amplitudes for the staff who remain. It is important to remember that there have never been clusters in shopping centers. “
