Singer Dave is famous for not having his tongue in his pocket and, during the broadcast of his interview on the show 50 inside on TF1, the 77-year-old singer proved it again. Facing Nikos Aliagas, he spoke about his couple, his homosexuality and how he approaches sex since he became a senior.
Dave, whose real name is Wouter Otto Levenbach, has shared his life for more than fifty years with lyricist Patrick Loiseau, who has offered him some very beautiful songs during his career. And yet, their story got off to a bad start because of their big differences… Despite everything, the couple held on and even took the plunge into marriage in the greatest discretion: “We were four“, he confided in 2019. He had been inspired by his friend Marc-Olivier Fogiel and the fact that the Pacs does not provide enough protection in the event of the death of one of the two spouses.
If everything suggests that Dave is therefore a very happy man in his intimate life, the interpreter of cult hits Vanina and On the Swann side however, relates that over the years, there is one area where things have changed a lot… that of sex! Asked by the host Nikos about his homosexuality, which he did not hide for a long time – he has already had affairs with women -, Dave replied in a cash way: “Today, I am no longer homosexual since at an age, one is no longer sexual at all. We don’t want you so much anymore and the others don’t want you so much anymore.“Has he closed shop like his colleague Amanda Lear?
Dave, who was recently hospitalized in emergency after a heavy fall at his home, however, does not hold sex as the only link with the person who shares his life. Between him and Patrick Loiseau, there is osmosis and that is enough for his happiness. “When we are lucky enough to have this beautiful hooked atom, one without the other, we no longer exist. When we have found that, we have to do everything to make it last. Me, I quit beer and football“, he added.
