The theme always causes big clashes between them
And this is not the first time that the two men have clashed on this theme… In December 2021, Matthieu Delormeau had previously taken over Gilles Verdez when he was scandalized by a front page of Stubborn showing Bilal Hassani celebrated as personality of the year in a photograph that used religious iconography. This representation was then banned from displaying in SNCF and RATP stations.
For his part, Matthieu Delormeau had seen a whiff of homophobia in this embarrassment. Indignant, Gilles Verdez had for his part replied with fervor: “It’s disgusting. That is disgusting!
