The first secretary of the PS, Olivier Faure, “take things in the right order”, believes Marine Tondelier, national secretary of the Ecologists Tuesday June 18 in the show Ma France on France Bleu. “We do not decide by self-application or spontaneous appointment on a TV set” to be Prime Minister.

“He is taking things in the right order, because today we are being asked to name a Prime Minister, but that is not how a legislative election happens.“, continues the ecologist. She considers that those who proclaimed themselves Prime Minister, “It’s their right and it’s their choice, but we don’t decide by self-application or spontaneous appointment on a TV set.”

However, she does not respond to Olivier Faure’s proposal to vote to choose the Prime Minister. “We respect the Constitution, the Prime Minister is the President of the Republic who does it. And above all it is done according to the results of the elections. For example, I see Jordan Bardella who is a self-proclaimed candidate, we are very happy for him, but it doesn’t happen exactly like that”, she tackles. “I think that the credibility of each person for this particular position is written every day and the decision will be made, I agree with Olivier Faure on this point, after the legislative election and once we have the results”she concludes.
