The last council of ministers of Jean Castex and his government must be held on Thursday April 28 at the Élysée. The relocated council exceptionally relocated to the village hall of the Élysée with 40 people present. You want to sing “it’s only a goodbye my brothers”. But I could have put on more festive music because a farewell party for 40 people, even at 11 o’clock in the morning, we know very well how it ends: in caterpillar.
But I don’t have the heart to celebrate since my Jean Castex is therefore making his farewell party with his entire team later on. I will obviously dedicate a column to this one soon to come back to a mandate of one year, 9 months and 17 days currently that we could summarize with this: “The ski resorts will be open but the ski lifts closed.”
At the starting drink so later, there will be the serene ones, the guys who can refill themselves three times at the buffet. No problem for Gabriel Attal, Sébastien Lecornu, Gérald Darmanin, Amélie de Montchalin, Julien Denormandie…. On the hot seat on the other hand, feverish but with a cut nonetheless: Jean Michel Blanquer, who will obviously soon recover his torch.
I read in the Parisian: “It’s going to be strange to toast over a drink, when most of us will probably not be here next week”according to a minister. “It’s the last meal of the condemned”. This is why we will perhaps forget the caterpillar.
Afterwards, I also have a huge thought for all the members of the government who have changed our lives and whose names we will really remember. The minister delegate in charge of integration who is none other than…? I asked you a question… Brigitte Klinkert! Just like the Minister Delegate in charge of the City who is…? Nadia Hai!
And the Minister Delegate in charge of Memory and Veterans Affairs…Geneviève Darrieussecq of course! Congratulations to all for the work and bon pot!
