Maybe you had something else to do on Wednesday at 5 p.m.? Me no. So I watched Gérald Darmanin’s Senate hearing. With Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, new Minister of Sports, they were invited to make “all the transparency” on the fiasco of the Stade de France.
So is it always the fault of the English? A little, according to the Minister of the Interior. But the first thing to remember about Gérald Darmanin is perhaps this:“For football fans – and having been a football referee for many, many years – the negative image of this match is a wound for our national pride”.
Yes: the minister was an arbitrator. I didn’t know anything about it and it was simply part of his argument.
As an introduction to his hearing before the Senate, @GDarmanin recalls that he was a football referee. There are even a few photos left (here alongside Stéphanie Frappart, who officiates today in L1). pic.twitter.com/qJub5aldKa

That being said, let’s get back to the facts, did we have a my culpa ? Not far, but not exactly. And in terms of counterfeit notes, where are we?
And Gérald Darmanin to conclude like this, and we can only agree : “It is obvious that the Ministry of the Interior has very important efforts to make for the Rugby World Cup and the Olympic Games”.
