The Senate begins examination of the Immigration bill tomorrow. Yoann Gillet, RN deputy for Gard, and Bruno Millienne, deputy for Yvelines and spokesperson for MODEM, were the guests of 19/20 info, Sunday November 5, 2023.
The text of the immigration bill is subject to debate. The National Rally should vote against, explains Yoann Gillet, RN deputy for Gard: “As the text stands, we cannot vote for it, because article 3 regularizes illegal workers, so it is a bonus for clandestinity. This is not negotiable, we cannot regularize illegal immigrants.”justified the deputy.
“We must stop the hypocrisy”
Bruno Millienne, MP for Yvelines and spokesperson for MODEM, also spoke on article 3 of the Immigration bill: “We must stop the hypocrisy, you have people who contribute, who consume every day (…) and these people, each time we renew their residence permit, these are the ones we wants to regularize”, defends the MODEM deputy. Among the kitchen assistants, there would be 25% of “illegal immigrant”.
