Sunday March 10, in Los Angeles, the feature film won the Oscar for best screenplay for Arthur Harari, the companion of the director, Justine Triet. For Laurent Delmas, France Inter cinema journalist, “we can congratulate and rejoice at the Oscar won by Justine Triet for her film”. “It’s a very nice award which comes on top of more than 90 international awards for this feature film”he insists.
“A very beautiful course”
Justine Triet thus becomes the first French director rewarded by Hollywood. The Oscar is the prize that moved her the most, she confided on Sunday night. “It’s a very good journey for this film that we hadn’t necessarily anticipated. At the time of its screening, we were all impressed, but without being able to predict the more than five million admissions worldwide”concedes the journalist.
