This Wednesday afternoon, a resident of Mauzens-et-Miremont in the Dordogne reported the disappearance of her parrot a 12 year old Gabon Gray. Chouquette was in the house, on his owner’s shoulder when he flew out through a door that had accidentally remained open. “She’s not used to being outside” explains Laurence the owner, very attached to the bird which belonged to her mother.

“We went around the neighbors and we warned the town hall and the firefighters” explains this resident of Mauzens-et-Miremont. The parrot is not shy.
