“We are going to train the 25,000 civil service executives”, says Stanislas Guerini

To pass the winter, France is called upon to warm itself to 19 degrees. “There will be Ecowatt red days, when our network will be under tension, for example in electricity supply. These days I will ask to make an extra effort, to be at 18 degrees. It is 10% additional reduction in energy consumption. […] All administrative buildings [seront concernés]but not medico-social buildings, buildings for childcare”confides Stanislas Guerini, Minister of Transformation and the publicguest of “4 Truths” of France 2, Friday October 7th.

The fact of introducing more teleworking in the public service irritates the unions. “It will never be compulsory teleworking”assures Stanislas Guerini.

For the executive, beyond the winter, the challenge is the ecological planning of the company. “What we are going to get in the sobriety plan, we must never go back afterwards. We are going to launch the largest ecological transition training plan that has existed in the public service. We are going to train the 25,000 civil service executives, so that everyone is aware of the major issues but above all to be able to feed our action plans through the field”specifies the Minister of Transformation and the Function public. Eventually, will all civil servants have this training? “Yes of course”, concludes Stanislas Guerini.
