La France insoumise launches its campaign for the European elections with a meeting in Villepinte (Seine-Saint-Denis), Saturday March 16. To talk about it, LFI MP Aurélie Trouvé is the guest of 12/13 info.
The meeting of the head of the LFI list, Manon Aubry, will be held on Saturday March 16 in Villepinte (Seine-Saint-Denis). For its campaign for the European elections, La France insoumise chose “the strength to change everything” as a slogan. He calls for “changing neoliberal Europe, also changing the rules of budgetary austerity”, says Aurélie Trouvé, LFI MP for Seine-Saint-Denis. “We are fighting for peace, (…) but above all, we are fighting for a permanent, just, lasting, immediate ceasefire in Gaza”, she adds. According to the LFI MP, the Gazan people are victims of a “genocide” and a “carnage”.
Playing a diplomatic role in the war in Ukraine
MP Aurélie Trouvé argues that the left party does not refuse to come to the aid of the Ukrainian troops. “We have never been against the delivery of weapons”she assures. “What we denounce is this war-mongering logic of President Macron”, retorts the elected official. France should play a diplomatic role more than a military one, according to Aurélie Trouvé.
