Madame Tussauds in New York unveiled the wax statues of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on Tuesday. And the moment is historic since it is the first time that a vice-president has the right to his own statue.

The two replicas are staged in a reproduction of the Oval office, alongside the mythical “Resolute desk”, and dressed in the clothes that the president and vice-president wore during the inauguration ceremony on January 20.
Tradition dictates that each new president of the United States has his own wax statue at the museum. Melania Trump was also entitled to hers, in 2018.
