This is’a water basin with a capacity of 600 m3, in the Lavilledieu industrial zonepurposely designed to protect businesses in the event of a fire. “A fire broke out on June 16 in a company around it, the reserve was useful to the firefighters” supports Max Tourvieilhe, the president of the community of communes of the Aubenas basin.

The chosen one recalls the facts: on July 16, the gate leading to the reserve was discovered forced. “And we see that around 400 m3 of water is missing… that surprised us very much, especially since in the middle of July with the summer fires, it’s totally irresponsible” he protests.
“You have to come with a pump and a hose, it may have been used nearby, I don’t know.” A complaint was filed by the community of communes on Friday July 31. It’s not a question of money explains Max Tourvieilhe, but a question of responsibility, to understand what happened and to raise awareness. He pursues : “I would have been sent a little letter, a little request… well, there is probably someone who had a need, but it can’t happen like that.”
