The Secretary of State for Biodiversity also returned to the situation in Mayotte, where there are water cuts two days out of three. Evoking a situation “dramatic” with “the most serious drought in the last 25 years”Sarah El Hairy assured that “the State will stand alongside the Mahorais at all levels, first of all to respond to the crisis”with the distribution of free bottled water. “We need all the necessary investments so that this crisis does not happen again”she continued, evoking “desalination plants which are planned, drilling in research and in progress”.
