Forward Sean Monahan scored his second goal of the season late in the first period to give the Montreal Canadiens a lead against the Washington Capitals.
#91’s goal gave CH a 1-0 lead.
Monahan redirected Nick Suzuki’s throw behind Darcy Kuemper while the Habs were on the power play following a penalty taken by Alexander Ovechkin.
