Washington Wizards | Bradley Beal fined $25,000 for pushing referee

(New York) The NBA has fined Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards $25,000 for an action taken against an official.

The sanction was announced by Joe Dumars, in charge of basketball operations at the Silver circuit.

The incident occurred with 8:26 remaining in the third quarter on Saturday against the Indiana Pacers, beaten 127-113.

Wanting to intercept a long pass from Tyrese Haliburton, Beal made contact with referee John Butler and pushed him to the sidelines immediately afterwards.

Beal is second on the team with an average of 22.5 points per game this season.

He’s had five 30-plus-point games this season, including two this month.
