An employee who cleaned public toilets at the Paris station claims to have been fired by the company 2theloo after collecting a part left by a customer.
Fired because she was accused of stealing 1 euro, after six years spent cleaning public toilets at Montparnasse station in Paris. To enter these toilets, you have to pay 1 euro and at this price, the premises must remain clean otherwise customers are invited to report it. The employee respected her role until one morning in November when her employer summoned her. Supported by video surveillance, he accuses her of having stolen a one euro coin, left on the counter by a customer.
Prohibition on receiving tips
A few days later, his employer’s dismissal letter confirmed the reason, accusing him of taking a coin. The employee, however, claims to have never received a warning until then, which her employer, the company 2theloo, concedes. For ten years, the SNCF has entrusted this Dutch company with the sanitary facilities of around thirty stations. Result: nearly ten million in annual turnover, a little over 200 employees and personnel management that calls into question. For example, there is a ban on receiving tips.
