“I am very happy to learn of Warren’s selection, it is obviously exceptional at that age but nothing surprises me”Christophe Galtier, former coach of Paris Saint-Germain, told franceinfo after Didier Deschamps’ selection of Warren Zaire-Emery at 17 for the French football team.
“I remember last season during the first training sessions with Warren, I noticed that he was an extraordinary player, like no other, a young player like no other, with incredible intelligence, ‘total involvement’but also “significant athletic qualities and very important playing intelligence”explains Christophe Galtier.
“I am very happy for him. I follow him from a distance and I also see his performances. He has a desire to learn, to listen to learn, I know he is a boy who has ambition but full of humility”concludes Christophe Galtier.
