last September, some of the Mons supporters attacked the referee of the match Flavien Hourquet at the end of the match when they judged the match largely unfavorable for the yellows and blacks. “Busted Referee”was heard several times for about twenty seconds from the Darrouy tribune.
The club can appeal
The league therefore held the club responsible for “disorders caused by players, managers and/or the public of a club or clubs present” and more particularly for “disturbances caused in the sports arena”. The club faces heavier penalties in case of recurrence.
These decisions are subject to appeal. before the FFR Appeal Board within 7 days.
