The three people arrested are Georges Roy, his daughter, Marie-Laurence Roy, and Dave Mathieu. The three arrests are linked to the hostage-taking that occurred in a residence on Route Kelly, in Saint-Malachie, on February 19. The event left one victim, Patrick Martin, who according to our information was a supporter of the Blood Mafia Family (BFM) group and aged 29.

Police officers from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) and the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) have been very present throughout the territory of the Quebec region in recent days and have made several arrests, in the goal of ending the drug war.

According to our sources, these strikes would significantly weaken the Blood Family Mafia, in open war with criminal bikers for royalties from the drug market.

More details will follow.
