Faced with the arrival of many online streaming platforms, it is becoming more and more complicated for television channels to retain their former fine audiences. While some bet on fiction with well-crafted scenarios and promising casts, others offer new formats that appeal to their most loyal viewers.
We think of the M6 channel which recently announced the arrival of new daily broadcasts. A successful bet since the figures are already conclusive. On the channel’s “pro” Twitter account, we discover that the program “Un jour, un doc” presented by Kareen Guiock signed a few days ago, the best performance in audience on this time slot since its launch and the second best performance this year for a weekday edition with 1.4 million viewers.

For her part, Nathalie Renoux, who presents the “7:45 p.m.”, also manages to do some great feats and achieves the second best score of the year with the general public and under 50s with the information program. We note that thanks to the program “Enquêtes Criminelles” which is now broadcast on Tuesdays, it also still allows the W9 channel to achieve good scores and to be the leader of DTT that evening.

The two journalists have therefore literally entered the war and the race for audiences and now have TF1, France 2 or BFMTV as competitors. A fine revenge for the M6 group, which may have been losing momentum at certain times but which is coming back in force thanks to strong programs such as “Married at first sight”, “House for sale”, “Les Marseillais”, “Les apprentice adventurers” or “The Best Pastry Chef”, “An Almost Perfect Dinner”, “66 Minutes” and “Incredible Transformations”.
