It has now been several weeks since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began. The devastation is incalculable, the country is unrecognizable, but its citizens are still standing, ready to do anything to preserve the honor of their country.

Among the frontline fighters, there is Vitali Klitschko, former world boxing champion and mayor of the Ukrainian capital since 2014. Accompanied in particular by his brother Wladimir, also a former world champion, he tries to repel the Russians, but also make the rest of the planet aware of the current situation.

Very active on his Twitter account, Klitschko implores the world population to come to their aid. On Monday, he posted two videos on his page which has more than 670,000 subscribers.

In the first, he shows the extent of the devastation. “This is what the Russian war on civilians looks like,” he said at the outset. “It destroys buildings, it destroys infrastructure. A bus has just been hit by rockets and lives are lost. This is the war that Russia has started,” he added.

In his second video, he asks the public for help and suggests a link that directs to a fundraising campaign. “This war must end now. Support us. Help our army. Isolate Russia. Do it now, ”he chanted, in front of a destroyed and burned building.
