Every morning, he finds his team in secret: he thinks he is the target of the Russians. “The strategy is to move fast, so they don’t spot us“, he explains.

Railway workers do not use telephones or Iinternet to communicate, for fear of being spotted. It is using an internal system dating from the Cold War that they coordinate the Ukrainian stations. The rail network is regularly the victim of Russian offensives. Since the start of the war, 33 railway workers have died.
