War in Ukraine: Russia suspends gas deliveries to Poland and Bulgaria

Retaliation for the refusal of the two countries to pay their bills in rubles, as required by the Kremlin since April 1. To make up for the shortfall, Poland is betting on two new gas pipelines. Bulgaria depends on 90% of its Russian neighbour, and has few reserves. Europe has decided to come to the aid of both nations. According to Thierry Brosa specialist in energy issues, there is currently no reason to worry. The price of world gas is nevertheless likely to increase. In France, the government has agreed to freeze prices for households until the end of the year.
