War in Ukraine: Rescuers search for victims of the bombing of Kremenchuk

Ten dead and twenty wounded, this is the toll of the bombardment which hit the commercial center of the city of Kremenchuk in Ukraine, Monday, June 27. “This evening, the rescuers are still working (…), they discover sheet metal, they lift the rubble in search of bodies. They do it between two air raids, when we arrived earlier, the sirens of the city sounded”, explains the journalist, Agnès Vahramian, present on the spot.

While the bombardment hit the mall, the nearby factory was not hit. “The factory (…) is intact, we went to check on the spot”, explains Agnes Vahramyan. Regarding the victims and the final toll of the tragedy, the journalist specifies: “them local authorities (…) to whom we spoke tell us that they will only be able to give a reliable assessment that tomorrow morning, they say that there were up to a thousand people inside this shopping center. “
