Russia’s war on Ukraine was often discussed at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, which features several films by Ukrainian filmmakers. The festival banned Russians with ties to the Kremlin from attending. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave a surprise speech Tuesday to open the festival.
