War in Ukraine | NATO defends its decision not to establish a no-fly zone

Mr Stoltenberg defended the defensive alliance’s recent decision not to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine.

“It’s not just about declaring a no-fly zone,” he said. It has to be imposed and the only way to do that is to massively attack Russian air defense systems. »

This would escalate the fighting in Ukraine and start a real war in Europe that would involve all NATO allies, he said.

Further details will follow.
