On Tuesday August 16, a second ammunition explosion took place in Crimea, on a Russian military base. This is the second in a week. Moscow speaks of acts of sabotage. Ukraine does not claim responsibility for the attack. So why is Crimea targeted?
In Crimea, a few days ago, vacationers were on a white sand beach when they saw black smoke. These tourists see the war coming up close. The territory annexed by Russia is attacked. Could this be a turning point in the conflict in Ukraine? Crimea is a rear base for Vladimir Putin. It is from here that planes leave to bomb kyiv (Ukraine) and its region.
The area is far from combat and from the front, but within a week two explosions took place. An airbase near the sea and then an ammunition depot on the night of Monday to Tuesday were hit. These sites are more than 200 km away from kyiv-controlled land, so how was Ukraine able to reach them? Some mention outside help. Russia speaks of sabotage.
