Almost eight months after the start of the war in Ukraine, the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, was invited, Wednesday, October 5 in the morning, on the set of “4 Truths” of France 2. “We have information that leads us to believe that war crimes or crimes against humanity may have been committed”he said, thus justifying the presence of his teams on the ground to collect the testimonies of the victims and the importance of working with the various parties to establish the truth.

Asked about the subject, Karim Khan explained that he and his teams did not “not investigations with targets”. And to specify: “One thing is clear: under the Rome Statute which created the International Criminal Court, everyone has personal responsibilities, whether they are a general, a head of government or a soldier in the field.”
