War between Hamas and Israel: a French survivor of the rave party testifies

These are images and sounds that haunt him. The music festival he was attending was stormed by Hamas. For 12 days, a French relive the film of that cursed morning. The inferno began with a shower of rockets. “We really all hide under cars. That’s when we hear a machine gun. The bullets are flying over our heads.”, remembers Haïm Yassef Brakha. The terrorists of Hamas kidnap those who fail to escape and kill at least 260 young people.

“We saw young people dying”

Some try to escape by driving, but the terrorists aim at the windshields. Haim Yassef23, takes refuge where he can. “We hid in trees. We hid under the trunks, on the ground. (…) About every quarter of an hour, 20 minutes, we received shots from our side and we saw young people die.”says the survivor. He recalls this suffocating moment when he realizes that the Israeli police will not be able to help him. It testifies : “We understand that the two police officers are dead and the police car has Hamas in it”. The nightmare will last 6:30 a.m. from morning to 6 p.m.
