(New York) The New York Stock Exchange started up on Thursday, after records just broken the day before by the Dow Jones and the S&P 500, in a very limited market two days from the end of the year.
A few minutes after the opening, the Dow Jones advanced 0.34%, the NASDAQ 0.07%. The S&P 500, which achieved its 70e record of the year, rose 0.17%.
As of Wednesday, the Dow Jones Index and the S&P 500 hit new highs at 36,488.63 points (+ 0.25%) and 4,793.06 points (+ 0.14%). The predominantly technological NASDAQ dropped 0.10% to 15,766.22 points.
