Wall Street starts lower after two sessions of gains

(New York) The New York Stock Exchange started in the red on Wednesday after two positive sessions, investors still worried about inflation which was pushing up oil prices and interest rates.

A few minutes after the opening, the Dow Jones index dropped 0.54%, the NASDAQ 0.31% and the S&P 500 0.49%. On Tuesday, the Dow Jones rose 0.80% to 33,180.14 points, the NASDAQ index gained 0.94% to 12,175.23 points, and the broader S&P 500 index gained 0.95% to 4160.68 points.
