(New York) The New York Stock Exchange opened modestly higher on Friday after solid US employment figures, which raise fears that rates will remain high for longer, but seem to validate the scenario of a soft landing for the economy.
The Dow Jones index gained 0.09%, the technology-dominated NASDAQ gained 0.20%, and the S&P 500 +0.21% during early trading.
