(New York) The New York Stock Exchange fell at the opening on Tuesday reacting negatively to persistent inflation in the United States, which turned out to be higher than expected in January.
The Dow Jones index, after a record the day before, lost 0.88%, the technologically-dominated NASDAQ lost 2.04% and the S&P 500 dropped 1.37% in early trading.
