(New York) The New York Stock Exchange opened lower on Wednesday, the day after the US Congressional elections which did not see the expected Republican wave arrive and some results of which are still pending.

A few minutes after the opening, the Dow Jones dropped 0.74%, the S&P 500 lost 0.83% and the NASDAQ, disturbed by the debacle in the cryptocurrency sector, fell 1.05%.
