(New York) The New York Stock Exchange opened timidly in the red on Monday, showing caution after the notable rebound of the previous week, the best for the stock market since the end of 2020: the Dow Jones dropped 0.16%, the NASDAQ was down 0.25%.

Over the week, the indices gained 5.50% for the Dow Jones, more than 8% for the NASDAQ and 6% for the S&P 500. On Friday, the index of star stocks had advanced by 0.80% to 34,754 .93 points, while the technology-dominated NASDAQ gained 2.05% to 13,893.83 points, and the broader index climbed 1.17% to 4,463.12 points.
