(New York) The New York Stock Exchange opened lower on Tuesday, in a sluggish market dissatisfied with the results of several retail groups.
In early trading, the Dow Jones lost 0.14% after briefly opening higher, while the technology-heavy NASDAQ index fell 0.26% and the broader S&P 500 index, 0.15%.
