“Voting is the way to defend yourself from injustices,” says Marine Le Pen, president of the RN group in the National Assembly

Five days before the European elections, where the abstention rate is still high, Marine Le Pen was on the set of “4 Truths” on France 2. For the president of the RN group in the National Assembly, “we must go and vote because it is the way to defend ourselves against injustice. In the ballot box, all votes are equal. But it is above all to retain the power to decide”. For the elected official, what is at stake in the European elections is the capacity of the French people to still be able to influence their own future and not to have decisions taken by others imposed on them.

While the RN explains that by voting for Jordan Bardella’s list, the idea is to sanction Emmanuel Macron as heavily as possible, what meaning will the results of Sunday June 9 have? “It will be clear that the French no longer want the European Union as it has been building for years. They do not want no immigration, they do not want the green deal”, says Marine Le Pen.
