An association, La Fabrique nomade, allows refugees to find the job they practiced in their country oforigin.

To Paris (Île-de-France), the association La Fabrique nomadic has an objective to allow refugees or migrants to be able to do again the job they practiced before leaving their country. For the association, it is a way of professionally integrating these people into society. Sri Lankan or Ukrainian, stonemason or designer, each comes from different backgrounds with a manual trade and all hope to show that they are capable of doing it in France too.

Created six years ago, La Fabrique nomade was the idea of Inès Mesmar, who was inspired by her mother’s journey. After leaving Tunisia, the latter was never able to return to her original profession. The training and learning the language lasts nine months for the people of the association. At the end of this period, 75% of them find work in their branch. It is also an opportunity for French companies to recruit staff with new techniques.
