During the non-aligned summit, which began on September 15, Vladimir Putin thought he would receive unwavering support from countries that refuse to place themselves under the influence of the United States. But the Russian leader appeared more isolated than he would like.
Since Thursday September 15 takes place the summit of the non-aligned, that is to say the countries which refuse to place themselves under the influence of the United States. Russia, China, India or even Iran and Turkey are gathered in Samarkand, in Uzbekistan. For the first time in front of the cameras, the Indian Prime Minister tackled the Russian president. “Today is not the time to go to war. We have already talked about it several times on the phone. Democracy, diplomacy and dialogue influence the world”, said Narendra Modi. Vladimir Putin said he would do everything to put an end to this operation.
Due to European sanctions, Russia is struggling. Its civil and military industry is idling. Several factories are thus shut down. One of them, which manufactures tanks, is closed, for lack of parts imported from the West. So Moscow is looking for support from its historical partners. China still refuses to sell weapons or parts to manufacture them to Russia. The country prefers not to officially choose sides.
