After kyiv (Ukraine) on Monday, Joe Biden was welcomed on Tuesday February 21 by the Polish President in Warsaw (Poland), while Vladimir Putin delivered his state of the union speech. A year after the start of the war in Ukraine, the American and Russian presidents find themselves face to face more than ever. The Russian head of state attacked the West head-on. “Western elites are making no secret of their objective of inflicting, as they say, a strategic defeat on Russia (…). “A world ruled by fear”

“Putin thought autocrats like him were tough, and democratic leaders soft. He ran into the iron will of America and nations around the world, who refuse to accept a world ruled by fear”, replied the President of the United States in Warsaw. Russia also announced that its country would no longer participate in a 40-year-old disarmament agreement, while continuing to respect the limitation of its nuclear arsenal.
