Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is one of the most terrifying baseball players on home plate. However, on Tuesday, a Tampa Bay Rays outfielder managed to make him bite the dust with a throw worthy of a beach ball.
The Florida team suffered their worst loss in team history against the Toronto Blue Jays, allowing 27 hits in a 20-1 loss.

In the eighth inning, the Rays were already trailing 10-1 when manager Kevin Cash, out of gunners, decided to send outfielder Luke Raley to the mound.
The arrival of the son of the former glory of the Montreal Expos to the plate seemed to announce a disaster. But against all odds, Guerrero Jr. sliced through the air… on a 50-mile-per-hour curveball.
Good player, and especially aware that his withdrawal on catches was going to have no impact on the course of the match, the Jays slugger digested this bitter failure with self-deprecation.
What’s more, Guerrero Jr. didn’t get his revenge until a set later, catapulting an offering from Raley to score a grand slam.
Despite everything, the member of the Rays took great pride in having played a trick on one of the most formidable hitters in major league baseball.
“I was smiling because I took Vlad off, honestly,” Raley said after the duel, according to MLB.com. I never thought I would achieve this. At least I have a strikeout on my stat sheet and we can move on.”
Guerrero Jr. immortalized this unique moment in Raley’s career by handing him the ball with which he took him out in a box after the match. The Montreal native autographed the ball, in addition to simply writing, “You got me.”
