Vitorino Hilton will not play in Sète, the FFF rejects the club’s request

Terribly downcast, this Friday evening, the 44-year-old Brazilian and his new sports director Sandryk Biton confirmed the news to us: the French Football Federation has not given the green light and prevents the Brazilian defender from replaying and committing, this season, with the Hérault club, which plays in National.

A few days ago, however, the club announced the arrival of the former captain of La Paillade, after an agreement reached on Monday January 31. That day, the Sète club had signed a license for the Brazilian player, in the hope of being able to convert to federal contract once received planned and expected aid, in particular public, from its partners, although the former pailladin had announced that he did not want to take a euro to embark on this new adventure.

Only, the transfer market ended, the FFF refused to transform the document and did so obstacle to the dream of the double champion of France : play football again, after the end of his adventure with the MHSC, last summer. The former boss of the defense of Montpellier Hérault cannot, in fact, even evolve in R1, level of the Sétoise reserve, under amateur license: his status as a professional footballer, last season, does not allow it.

While they agreed on a year and a half collaboration, Vito can hope to wear the colors of FC Sète from July 1. Not before, in an official match, unless there is a turnaround and an exemption. In the meantime, it is a big disappointment for the one who told us, again this Friday evening in 100% Paillade, of his hope and his mad desire to return to battle.
