Nearly 220 firefighters from the Pyrénées-Orientales have been mobilized since 4 p.m. this Saturday July 30 to fight a fire near the town of Calce, 15 kilometers northwest of Perpignan, learned France Bleu Roussillon.

Of the 220 firefighters mobilized, 60 arrive as reinforcements from the departments of Gers, Hautes-Pyrénées and Lot, according to information from our colleagues from France Bleu Roussillon. No homes are threatened at this time.
