Former National Hockey League (NHL) strongman Donald Brashear will finally be suspended for three games for violent acts committed last Saturday during a game against the Chalets Flamand de Saint-Ambroise, at the Marcel-Claveau Arena. His opponent in the main altercation, Charles Couture, also received a one-game suspension for allegedly punching Brashear in the head during the game, before the situation turned sour at the start of the third period.
The Lac au Fleuve Senior Hockey League (LHSLF) announced the sanctions imposed on Brashear (# 87), who has been playing for the Wendake Black Jack for three years, “after consulting the report from the officials, the two teams and the video that circulated on social media.
