A thick plume of smoke has been emerging from the buildings of the Banque de France printing works since around 10 a.m. this Wednesday morning. Firefighters on the scene described the fire as “violent”. Boulevard Duclaux which runs along the site between Chamalières and Clermont-Ferrand is closed to traffic.
