They also target trucks from a cement factory. A violence that some understand, like this resident: “Six months ago, we held a big peaceful demonstration and nothing has happened since. They don’t listen to us.”

However, the gathering was intended to be festive. Several thousand demonstrators came to denounce the construction of the A69 motorway, including a family from Nantes. The demonstration ended late in the afternoon. The most violent activists were dislodged by the police. The prefecture counted three minor injuries, one among the demonstrators, two among the police.
